Reclaimed Wood Office Desk, Barnwood Computer Desk, Rustic Desk

This custom made desk has 3″ x 3″ welded steel legs connected by 1/4″ steel stretchers. All metal components have been powder coated matte black for long-term durability. There is a slide-out keyboard tray and three dovetailed drawers with soft-close undermount slides. The two tops that make up the L-shape are from truly authentic 2″ reclaimed barnwood. The wood for the desktops was salvaged from 2×8 oak floor joist in a barn in Tennessee. Much care was taken to preserve the aged characteristic of the material; it’s filled with many saw marks from the early American sawmills, and also loaded with nail holes and worm holes. The most severe holes or indentations were filled with black epoxy. The desktop then received three coats of a commercial-grade finish. The final product turned out amazing.

Desks are custom made to order, so any size or configuration is available. Size of the desk in listing photograph, Section A= 30″ x 66″ x 1-1/2″, Section B=24″ x 48″ x 1-1/2″. It is milled entirely from 2″ thick authentic reclaimed barnwood, not construction lumber from big box stores.
