This 8ft x 4ft boardroom table is handcrafted from custom-selected live edge black walnut slabs, finished 1.5–1.75″ thick with a natural Rubio Monocoat finish that protects the wood while showing off its live-edge grain. A turquoise wavy epoxy river with dramatic wood islands runs through the tabletop, framed by solid steel K-shaped legs in a black finish set at a standard 30″ height. As with all Woodify slabs, the wood is kiln-dried and planed before production to prevent future warping.
Every element of this table can be adjusted to fit your space. Choose your own live edge black walnut slabs for unique grain and character, select a different epoxy river color beyond turquoise, or switch up the leg style and finish. During your free consultation, we’ll guide you through slab selection, river color, and leg options, then confirm production time and shipping before your build begins.
A live edge epoxy river table with islands is one of the most visually striking options in custom furniture — the wood “islands” left standing in the resin create movement and depth that a straight epoxy pour can’t match. Built from solid black walnut rather than veneer or laminate, this table is a long-term investment: it can be sanded and refinished for decades rather than replaced. For law firms, corporate offices, or executive boardrooms, it’s a functional centerpiece that signals craftsmanship at first glance.
