Hi, thanks for getting back to me. Yes looking for a custom bar or counter top, live edge and epoxy is what I’m looking for. I’m on the west coast in Surrey, BC. I would like the long side of the L shaped bar to be 96″ long, with the short side 56-60″ long (depending on the final width of the bar top). Width would be 20-24″ and with this length it should be more than 2″ thick. I want the inside of the L shaped bar to be a finished live edge and the outside to be a straight finished edge. I would like an epoxy river, or if the wood is really knotty with lots of character, perhaps just filling in the holes with epoxy. Also, instead of a full river of epoxy down the middle, we could also make that outside straight finished edge out of epoxy along a live edge, so it would end up with two live edges as the outside live edge is finished with epoxy. I am not partial to any particular species of wood, it doesn’t have to be exotic or expensive as long as it has some character (and we can keep costs down). Let me know what you think in terms of approximate cost. If it’s in range then we can discuss details to work out a final project price.
